So, it's been a little while since I last wrote one of these.

Been back home from New York for months, got a new flat in London with Paul. We're both working for a new banks.

Got a new camera (the new Canon 1dMk3) with this year's bonus. And it's a sexy camera indeed. Just need sometime to shoot with it now.

Decided that I ought to learn to draw too. So that's starting as of now, and I'll see where I get with it. Hopefully somewhere.

Been to a few gigs recently. Marillion, who were great as ever. Blackfield, which was also most enjoyable. Steve Hogarth, which was cool, in a nice little church in Islington. But Threshold and Kamelot were unfortunately a bit boring. Maybe I'm getting a bit old for power metal. Or maybe it was just not having bought the recent albums. Either way, they needed a much better sound engineer and lighting designer. Mind you, Damien Wilson is a much better frontman than Mac, so it wasn't all bad.

We've got Haydn's The Creation next Sunday, and I'm sure that will be much better.
